What
Organized by the Things Network Bergen
The day to remember is Tuesday 29 October 2019 from 18:00 to 21:00. We will be at Scandic Ørnen, Lars Hilles gate 18. Food and soft drinks will be served by our sponsor. Spots are free but limited, and we advise you to reserve your seat as quickly as possible.
This evening we will learn more about some of the exciting TTN-based IoT projects that are currently going on in the Bergen area. The details are not finalized yet, but we'll let you know as soon as we have more to share.
In addition, Tom Osnes Svellingen from Bergen kommune will tell us more about how they systematically work with digitalization as a means of realizing smart and sustainable services for their citizens. One example of this is the municipality's newly established data lake: Lungegårdsvannet. Lungegårdsvannet contains 6 use-cases: Bathing water, emergency room staff planning, mobility, nursing homes, water, and sewage as well as building and property.
We will also walk through how to map the coverage with the legendary TTNmapper. If you have a LoraWAN node at hand, make sure to bring it. It might be your new mapper device.
Finally, there will be plenty of time for discussion with your fellow enthusiasts. If you have a good idea for a cutting-edge project, this is definitely the place to discuss it.
If you just can't wait until the event, consider joining our vibrant Slack channel. Instructions: https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/community/bergen/post/this-fall-in-the-things-network-bergen
